New Animeeple Release !!! 0.4.9 is here.

We have an exciting new release of Animeeple. New stuff in this release (0.4.9):

- 4-way split view with left/front/top views
- Tall view where left/front/top are at the bottom
- Wide view where left/front/top are on the right
- Support for multiple materials on the same surface
- Improved Unity pipeline, now characters are easier to place in Unity scenes
- Pose copy/paste support: You can copy or save poses in edit blocks, and paste them back in

New Animeeple Release

Hi Everybody,

We just made another release of Animeeple. In addition to various fixes, we added an Inventory page to Animeeple where you can see the purchases you have made thru Animeeple.

New service release

   We just made another service release before we leave for Siggraph. The missing shortcuts are restored. You can also check the animations retargeted onto the default Animeeple character (right click on the animation you want to see retargeted to bring up the menu).

Animeeple 0.4.1 is finally out of the door


    After a month and a half of work, Animeeple 0.4.1 is finally out of the door. This new version has an awesome new user interface, many bug fixes as well as awesome new features including, differential path editing. 

    We also updated our website for easier browsing. Each and every vendor on Animeeple now have their own separate store.

Why does JavaFX suck?



... because it is Java.

Mini Ninjas - a rookie mistake



Now I'm not a big time game critique like that zero punctuation dude and I certainly do not have a cool hat, but I'm a gamer and I've spent (wasted) a lot of time playing. One thing that I realized -- through many many years of game playing -- what does not work is ... long f...king training time. Sounds obvious right? Why do you spend hours in tutorial or training stuff before you actually get into the game? Well, I think there are good answers in the pedagogy of smaller kids.

One example is Little Ninjas. I had to spend (waste) 15 minutes before I could jump into the actual story. The real question is: WTF? Do smaller kids (yeah I'm a big kid) need this kinds of a cushioning or pampering?

PS: Engineering and Art departments: kudos, awesome job.
